List of imported pedigree material is extended

Under decree of Cabinet of Ministers as of January 27, 2015, changes were made to the List of pedigree material, processing and additional equipment for development of veterinary services, mixed fodder production components, which are tax-exempt if imported (except for collection for customs clearance).

According to the changes live poultry (hens, ducks, turkeys, guinea fowls) and fertilized egg for incubation are exempted from customs fees.

The list has been extended considerably and now includes female bees, bee packages, young valuable fish such as trout, carp, sturgeon, sheatfish, and fertilized roe of sturgeon and other fish and their lavrae.

The list of equipment, component units, and spare parts was widened as well. From now it includes consumables and disinfectants such as ear tags with numbers for cattle, insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, anti-germination means and plant growth regulators, disinfectants and similar preparations and products.

The document has been executed for further development and increase of efficiency of livestock breeding and defines import-export process of pedigree material by livestock farming entities.

Import and export is arranged according to approved order considering list of imported and exported pedigree products. Import and export of illegal products is prohibited.

Livestock farming subjects which import or export pedigree material should input all information into Single Electronic Database of Foreign Trade Operations in electronic from through Single Interactive State Services Portal using digital signature.

As provided by veterinary requirements, imported pedigree animals are placed in quarantine in accordance with the established procedure. After quarantine state registration of pedigree cattle is carried out in the prescribed manner.
