Food Week/Agri Tek Uzbekistan – 2015

From September 29 to October 1, 2015, International Exhibition of Agriculture, Food Products and Drinks, Food Industry and Packing (Food Week / Agri Tek Uzbekistan – 2015) took place at NEC “UzExpoCentre” in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Exhibition was hosted by EXPO POSITION, Ltd., under the aegis of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Agriculture is the leading industries in Uzbekistan. 63% of the total population lives in rural areas. Share of agriculture in GDP is 63% and in labour resources – 35%. Moreover, main currency earnings come from agriculture.

Main topics of the exhibition were as follows:

food products;
alcohol and soft drinks;
food industry equipment;
packing technologies and equipment;
shop and refrigeration equipment;
equipment for bars, cafes, and restaurants;
tractors, combines, and other farm machinery;
feeds and stockbreeding complexes.

At International Exhibition of Agriculture, Food Products and Drinks, Food Industry and Packing local and foreign companies demonstrated their achievements in agriculture sphere.
