AgroFood-2014

After autumn harvest farmers from all regions of Uzbekistan come to Tashkent to participate in autumn exhibitions, share experience and find out about latest innovations in their fields of business.

On November 20-25 at “Korgazmasavdomarkazi” Exhibition Hall, AgroFood-2014, International Exhibition and Conference on gardening, vegetable growing, flower growing, and bee-keeping, took place. The exhibition was organized under the aegis of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Exposanoat, Ltd., and Entrepreneurship and Farming Support Center of Uzbekistan.

One of main differences of this exhibition from other agricultural exhibitions held in Uzbekistan is its narrow specialization, concentration solely on production, processing, and services in spheres of gardening, vegetable growing, flower growing, and bee-keeping.

Uzbekistan is an agrarian country with huge potential of business development in the industry. Thus there is always interest in such exhibitions. Companies which participated in AgroFood-2014 offered vast variety of products, almost everything from mineral fertilizers to honey.

One of the aims of the exhibition is promotion of participants’ products to new promising markets, assistance in development of farming and entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan, experience exchange between farmers and entrepreneurs who get profit as the result of innovative technologies introduction. Visiting such exhibitions may literally inspire farmers to make changes to their common order of business to succeed more.

Main parts of the exhibition are as follows:

Gardening, vegetable growing, flower growing:

saplings, seeds, seedlings;
soils, compost, fertilizers, plants protection, and other agrichemicals;
fresh fruits, barriers, flowers;
mechanization means, machinery and other equipment for gardening and flower growing;
accessories for arrangement of flowers and floristics;
consulting and mediator services in gardening, flower growing, landscape design, and products sell.

Honey, pollen, propolis, royal jelly, wax:

bees, hives, apiary;
equipment for bee-keeping.

Processing, storage, packing, and transportation:

processed products: juice, jam and so on;
technologies for processing, storage, packing of fresh and processed products;
raw materials for construction, cooling and other equipment for processing, storage, and packing of products;
construction of places for processing, storage, and packing;
transportation and logistics.
